“CERCHIER (সার্চার)” Knowledging the Policy Maker
Who we are:Cerchier is a privately owned and operated social research
organ. It is established to look into the social phenomena, the social problems
and the ongoing solving mechanisms and thus to establish or confirm facts,
reaffirm the the results of the previous work, solve new or existing problems,
support theorems, and/or develop new theories.
Vision:Our main vision is to help the society and its all
stakeholders through knowledging the policy makers.
Mission:Our Mission is to undertake the initiatives to conduct
research in varying fields of social arena, explore the real information,
analyzing the facts, review the existing the modalities based on the fact and
thus to promote the policy makers to accept the pro-people policy and thus help
the humanity at large.
Startegy:(a) Conduct Research:
Our one of the main
modalities is to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research in various
fields of social sectors to identify the problems that hinders the development.
The research would include the Policies, the strategies and its impact on the
society. We are committed to supporting the very best research, with scientific
excellence.(b) Arrangement of
Seminars:We arrange seminars
and discussions on various topics concerning the society. We present our research
findings and/or recommendations through the seminars, Print media and
electronic media as well as others media.
(c) Training:We play a key role in promoting and supporting
training for the social science community throughout their careers. We invest
in high-quality research training and development opportunities to produce
skilled researchers who are able to tackle the most pressing social and
economic challenges and have a broader impact on society.(d) Partnerships:Partnerships bring a wealth of opportunities
to the social sciences, from the development of researchers skilled in
knowledge exchange to creating maximum impact of our research on society’s most
complex challenges. Building strategic partnerships with academia, the public
and private sectors, and civil society is a key aspect of our work.
(e) Infrastructure:Researchers require access to world-class data
and pioneering research methods to deliver high quality research and maximise
impact. We take a strategic lead in driving the expansion of the UK's data
infrastructure and supporting cutting-edge methodological developments.(f) International relationship:We would foster international collaboration
with a wide range of international partners and to collaborate on challenging
global issues with the very best international researchers from around the
world, in future.

and Molecular Biology from Jahangirnagar University. Due to his interest in
Development and Economic research he switched from Biochemistry to Social
Sciences and Joined as an assistant Chief (BCS Economic Cadre) in the Ministry
of Planning. Before that he served as an Officer in the IBBL for two and half
years. After joining in the Planning Division, he completed his 65 Days long departmental
training concerning the Planning Procedures and its implementation Policies
of Bangladesh. Besides, He has received a one year long Post Graduate
Diploma in Development Planning from National Academy for Planning and
Development (NAPD) under the Ministry of Planning. He has published articles in
domestic academic journals, various Newspapers and Blogs.His areas of interest include:Primary interest: Planning procedure, Implementation Monitoring and
Evaluation of Projects, Poverty alleviation, human well-being, Women’s empowerment, education,
child rights, gender issues, social inequality, corruption and injustice,
rights and social movements, population studies, population and development
linkages, International trade, Labor economics etc.
Secondary Interest: Health Economics, Health and Environment
issues, Human resources development, good governance and accountability issues
etc.

Physics and Eletronics from Rajshahi University in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
During his University life he has gathered various academic research
experiences with his teachers there. Now he is working as a lecturer in The
European University, Dhaka. Major areas of research
interests are socio-cultural change and adaptation, Religious Militancy, Social
Inequality, Eduaction, Women Empowerment and social inequalities etc.

Rajshahi University in 2012 and 2013 respectively. During his University life
he has gathered various academic research experiences with his teachers there.
Now he is looking for a job where he can pursue his research activities for
which he has an enthusiasm. Major areas of research
interests are socio-cultural change and adaptation, Religious Militancy, Social
Inequality etc.
